Angel's trumpets must be overwintered indoors, in a dry place; they are not frost-hardy.

Angel's trumpets are also known as brugmansias.

Definitely one of the most spectacular plants in the garden. The beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers enchant you in the evenings with their strong, unique fragrance.

A vigorous plant that can reach 1.5-2 m. The pots should therefore be secured so they do not tip over in strong winds, for example by placing stones around them or sinking the pot into the ground.

Do not skimp on fertiliser and provide sufficient moisture during active growth to achieve the desired abundance.

It can be grown both in pots and in the ground. Plants grown in the ground must be dug up before frost, removing part of the root.

Plan the overwintering location in good time. Before bringing it indoors, the green growth can be partly pruned or tied up so it takes up less space.

Do not fertilise or overwater during dormancy, as the plant may rot. It can safely be kept dry and watered occasionally.
