Trailing strawberry Pink - Summer Breeze Cherry

Fragaria × ananassa 'Summer Breeze Cherry'

A unique variety combining spectacular flowering with a delicious crop.
It stands out with bright, double cherry-pink flowers that look like small roses, and sweet, juicy berries throughout the summer.

Key features:
Type: Perennial everbearing strawberry, producing flowers and fruit repeatedly until the first frosts.
Flowers: Bright pink, double and highly decorative. Blooms continuously.
Growth: Trailing (50-100 cm), forms a bushy clump and is ideal for hanging pots.
Berries: Medium-sized, red, with a classic sweet strawberry flavour.

Growing and care:
☀️Position: Sunny, as sunlight directly affects berry sweetness and flower intensity.
🌱Soil: Nutrient-rich, humus-rich, loose and well-drained.
💧Watering: Regular, especially in pots. Do not let it dry out, as this reduces crop potential.
🪴Important: Remove damaged leaves and overripe berries regularly to encourage new flowers and fruit.
❄️ Overwintering: Hardy perennial. Protect pots from freezing by sinking them into the ground.

Uses:
In the kitchen: For fresh eating, desserts, cakes and freezing.
Decorative: Ideal for balconies, terraces, hanging pots and flower boxes.
In the garden: Use as a colourful border or in mixed plantings with summer flowers.
