Common sage

Perennial, growing up to 50 cm tall. Suitable for a sunny, sheltered location with fairly dry, loose soil.

Sage is used to make flavoured teas, non-alcoholic drinks and herbal infusions; because of its disinfectant properties, it is also used traditionally for various inflammations.

Attracts butterflies and bees when flowering.

Sage grown in a 12/13 cm pot.
